Job summary

The Boeing Company in Tukwila, WA is hiring an Associate Design and Analysis Engineer for Mission Systems Communications and Navigation Hardware on the USAF E-7A program. You will join a team focused on design, integration and testing of mission systems for the E-7A AEW&C platform.

The role involves translating requirements into hardware/software designs, developing test procedures and validating system performance across the lifecycle, with relocation support if eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of engineering experience or a master's degree.
• Experience with hardware development, verification or DO-160 / MIL-STD-810 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist to development, documentation, and maintenance of complex electronic and electrical system architecture and requirements.
• Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Develop test procedures and document test results to ensure system requirements are met.
• Conduct system tests and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Gather information to support system project management.
• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and provide support of fielded hardware and software over the product lifecycle.
• Support research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Work under general supervision.
