Job summary

GDIT is seeking a senior architecture leader to provide technical leadership and design for mission-critical systems across USSTRATCOM environments. You will translate operational and business needs into secure, scalable architectures, define end-to-end designs, and lead architecture sessions with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 10+ years in architecture/engineering, Top Secret clearance, and certifications in ITIL v4/v5 and DoW 8140.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS (additional experience may substitute).
• Experience: 10+ years of related professional experience in architecture, engineering, or technical leadership.
• Required Certifications: ITIL Foundations v4/v5 Certificate and DoW 8140 Certification within 9 Months
• Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI status

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance for mission‑critical systems across USSTRATCOM on‑prem environments.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable solution architectures.
• Define end‑to‑end system architectures for complex distributed software solutions.
• Lead architectural design sessions, assessments, and evaluations for GOTS, COTS, and custom products.
• Ensure solutions comply with performance, interoperability, security, and compliance standards across environments.
• Evaluate GOTS and COTS products and define lifecycle strategies for deployment and sustainment.
