General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect at Offutt AFB, NE, to lead mission-critical solution architectures across secure environments. You will translate requirements into scalable designs, guide design reviews, and mentor technical teams in a high-security setting.

The role emphasizes on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-focused modernization, with strong emphasis on security, governance, and cost awareness for critical DoD IT systems.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS; additional experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of related professional experience in architecture, engineering, or technical leadership.
• Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance for mission-critical systems across USSTRATCOM on-prem environments.
• Translate operational and business requirements into secure, scalable architectures.
• Define end-to-end system architectures for complex distributed software solutions.
• Lead architecture design sessions, assessments, and solution evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, SAP/SAR.
• Evaluate GOTS and COTS products and define lifecycle strategies.
• Design solutions leveraging on-prem compute, storage, and network infra.
• Establish standards and guardrails for robust, maintainable solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments aligned to mission goals.
• Support cloud adoption, platform automation, and containerization.
• Assist with financial forecasting and cost modeling for architectures.
• Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring to engineers.
