Job summary

Virtualitics seeks an embedded, forward-deployed engineer to act as the primary on-site contact at a customer location. You will own the operational capability of the Readiness AI platform and coordinate with engineering and data science teams to ensure success.

You will train users, manage logistics, and support security compliance and clearance requirements across classified and unclassified environments.

Job description

• Serve as the embedded, forward-deployed Virtualitics representative at a customer site
• Own the day-to-day relationship with end users and act as the primary on-the-ground point of contact
• Own the operational capability at the assigned location as the technical expert for the Virtualitics Readiness AI platform
• Represent customer needs internally, elevate pain points to engineering and product teams, and ensure a positive customer experience
• Deliver hands-on training and enablement for customer mission integration
• Coordinate on-site technical operations with Virtualitics data science and AI teams
• Collect, analyze, and report customer feedback and ground truth
• Manage physical presence at the customer site, including office space, equipment readiness, logistics, scheduling, and resource coordination
• Support classified engagements with customers and potential customers
• Drive adoption of Virtualitics Readiness AI solutions through relationship-driven engagement
• Uphold Virtualitics' brand, image, and values through professional conduct and consistent service delivery
• Support personnel compliance tracking, including clearance status, NDA completion, CAC management, and training requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in or directly supporting Department of War operations
• Demonstrated technical aptitude, comfortable with data platforms, analytics tools, and translating technical capabilities into operational outcomes
• Experience operating autonomously in demanding environments with minimal supervision; judgment and initiative of an experienced NCO or junior officer
• Strong problem-solving skills and track record of delivering results in high-performing teams under aggressive timelines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; daily engagement with end users, senior leadership, and technical teams across all organizational levels
• Ability to work onsite at a customer location full-time or in a hybrid arrangement
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree preferred; or comparable on-the-job experience in lieu of degree
• Active TS-SCI clearance preferred
• Prior military service as an NCO (E-5 to E-7) or junior officer (O-1 to O-3) highly valued
• Domain expertise in defense operational areas such as logistics, supply chain, intelligence, munitions, readiness, or maintenance
• Experience as a Field Service Representative, Forward Deployed Engineer, or embedded technical advisor in a defense technology company
• Familiarity with coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across classified and unclassified environments
• Experience proactively identifying risks and optimizing cross-team collaboration in fast-paced operational settings
• Comfort with operational readiness workflows including security compliance, access management, and personnel tracking
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain a security clearance issued by the U.S. government
• Must be willing to relocate or travel as mission requires
