Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Mission Solutions Lead within the Digital Innovation Division to rapidly prototype and field enterprise-scale data solutions for mission customers. You will lead a small, agile team, collaborating with engineering, vendors, and customers to move quickly from problem to working solution.

You’ll drive new approaches, mentor engineers, and ensure fast-cycle prototyping translates into trusted, scalable capabilities across classified and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years in data engineering, data architecture, platform operations, or customer-facing solutions.
• Experience rapidly prototyping solutions and leading technical efforts under ambiguity.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Clear communication across technical and mission stakeholders; security clearances a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rapid prototyping and early-stage instantiation of enterprise data/software solutions for mission customers.
• Lead a small cell of solutions engineers, data architects and platform specialists.
• Develop lightweight adoption KPIs and translate pilots into scalable solutions.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and engineering teams; mentor junior engineers.
• Promote DataOps and SoftwareOps best practices and ensure fast-cycle delivery.
