Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Ground System Integration and Test Engineer in Palm Bay, FL. You will plan and perform systems integration, functional testing, and formal verification tests for a cloud-based ground segment, coordinating with space vehicle, cybersecurity, and ground software teams to ensure mission requirements are met.

Essential functions include developing test plans, tracking milestones, performing investigations, and reporting on verification events while maintaining eligibility

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of complex multi-subsystem cloud-hosted systems experience; graduate degree adds 7+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 13 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw.
• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS and traceability between requirements, use cases and test cases.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management System and program milestone tracking.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for project collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans, descriptions, and procedures.
• Identify, schedule, and track test milestones.
• Identify, investigate, and report on problems discovered during testing.
• Perform integration testing with simulators, emulators, flight hardware and software testbeds.
• Prepare detailed reports on formal verification test events.
• Investigate root causes of complex problems and propose solutions.
• Maintain the ability to obtain and keep a secret clearance.
