Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer for the Imaging Interfaces team. You will keep fielded imaging systems alive, triage issues across the full stack, and represent the product in customer integrations.

You will work across hardware, firmware, networking, and software to maintain end-to-end system understanding and ensure field readiness. You will build and extend production services on edge devices, collaborate with firmware, hardware, and platform engineers, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production-owned software development.
• Proficiency in C++, TypeScript/React, or Python and ability to work across the stack.
• 3+ years Linux-based environments and hands-on with bare-metal hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical problems to non-technical audiences.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own health and uptime of fielded imaging systems and triage issues across the stack.
• Develop and maintain modular services that run on edge devices in austere environments.
• Support field operations by diagnosing and resolving deployed hardware issues.
• Represent the team externally as a subject matter expert in integrations with other products and teams.
• Develop broad fluency across hardware, firmware, networking, and software; optimize service interactions.
• Collaborate across firmware, hardware, and platform engineers to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Travel ~25% for field testing and customer integrations.
