Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Software Engineer for the Imaging Interfaces team to own end-to-end software on fielded systems. You’ll triage issues across the stack, extend edge services, and act as the technical representative in customer integrations—sometimes on-site, sometimes remotely.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production software ownership across deployed systems.
• Proficiency in C++, TypeScript/React, or Python; able to work across a second language.
• Comfort ramping quickly into unfamiliar languages, tools, and deployment systems.
• 3+ years in Linux-based environments, including bare-metal hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across boundaries (networking, services, hardware).
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to explain problems to non-technical audiences, including operators.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system health; triage, diagnose, and drive resolution across the stack.
• Build and maintain modular production services on edge devices.
• Support field operations by diagnosing deployed hardware issues with operators.
• Represent the team externally in integrations with products and customers.
• Maintain end-to-end system understanding across hardware, firmware, networking, and software.
• Collaborate across firmware, hardware, and platform engineers; travel ~25% for field testing.
