Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to join the Imaging Interfaces team. You will spend time keeping fielded imaging systems alive, triaging issues across the full stack, and serving as a technical representative in integrations with external teams and customers.

You'll own end-to-end software in a fast-moving environment, building modular services on edge devices, diagnosing deployment challenges, traveling ~15% for field testing and customer work, and communicating

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with ownership of deployed systems.
• Strong Python and C++ skills; able to work effectively in either language.
• 5+ years working in Linux-based environments, including bare-metal hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical problems to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% for field testing and customer integrations.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system health and uptime; triage and diagnose issues across the full stack.
• Build and maintain production services on edge devices in austere environments.
• Support field operations; diagnose and resolve issues with field operators.
• Represent the team externally; speak credibly across the system stack.
• Maintain end-to-end system understanding across hardware, firmware, networking, and software.
• Collaborate across firmware, hardware, and platform engineers.
