Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal/Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer – Mission Processing in Melbourne, FL. This role operates on a 9/80 schedule with no hybrid or remote work.

A Secret clearance is required, with potential to pursue Top Secret, and travel up to 10%. You will document designs, integrate mission management subsystems with stakeholders, and manage suppliers through design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience or Master's with 3 years.
• Sr. Principal: Bachelor's with 8 years or Master's with 6 years.
• Experience with model-based systems engineering and Cameo.
• Experience with supplier documentation and statements of work.
• Experience with Mission Processing, Network and Communications design.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Document designs with schematics, diagrams and specs.
• Integrate mission management subsystems with engineers and stakeholders.
• Manage suppliers through development, acquisition, and test phases.
• Develop supplier documentation and statements of work.
• Create supplier evaluation criteria and conduct evaluations.
• Review supplier development documents and support design reviews.
