Job summary

RTX Corporation in Aurora, Colorado seeks an innovative Systems Engineer to provide engineering support for a high-priority operational system at high availability. You will be a technically minded problem-solver, able to follow through on plans and work under pressure while collaborating with a team.

The role emphasizes inputs to CONOP development, RFCs, and baselines, with pager duties roughly every two months. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages, including UNIX/Linux, PERL, Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML/XML, C, SQL, and MySQL.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Mission Planning functions.
• Diagnose and resolve unexpected software and hardware issues independently and in collaboration with cross-functional experts.
• Develop and maintain scripts/web tools.
• Provide support to Integration and test.
• Identify process improvements and software enhancements.
• Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams.
• Participate in and, when appropriate, lead technical working groups
• Prepare and deliver presentations, providing clear, data-driven recommendations to customers and management.
