Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Hollywood, MD to support state-of-the-art Mission Planning systems in an Agile Scrum environment. The role covers the full software lifecycle from requirements through testing and customer support, with on-site work at Hollywood, MD.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, DoD Secret clearance with potential to obtain TS/SAP, and experience with C# or Java, Windows tech, CI/CD, and Scrum Master activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required or equivalent experience.
• Current DoD Secret Clearance (adjudicated within 5 years) with ability to obtain Top-Secret and SAP clearances.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins) and Scrum Master experience.
• Proficiency in C# and/or Java and OO software design.
• Experience with Windows technologies and test procedures.]
• Knowledge of DOORS requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test and debug applications and systems.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable software delivery.
• Set up and deploy Development, Test, and Build environments.
• Create and update Windows installers; install, test, and verify software products.
• Support the Agile framework and act as Scrum Master when required.
• Interface with customers and support contract deliverables and testing procedures.
