Job summary

BizFirst LLC is assisting our client with recruiting a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer. This position supports a SIGINT mission program that provides collection systems engineering, target development, analysis, and mission software development for an Intelligence Community customer.

The role is onsite at Fort Meade, MD, on a shift schedule, and is open now for an immediate start. You will keep mission-essential systems running, maintain front-end and survey systems, and optimize

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree or 12 years of systems engineering experience
• Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Experience with Apache NiFi
• Experience configuring front-end systems including survey systems
• Willingness to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD and on a shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Maintain mission-essential systems and networks.
• Configure and maintain front-end systems, including survey systems.
• Optimize systems that support data and voice technologies over IP.
• Provide mission-essential help desk support and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow SOPs and update documentation.
• Support data flows, including NiFi, and apply secure network policies.
• Write Bash or Python scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Work a shift schedule to provide consistent mission coverage.
