Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer II to join the In-Space Systems team. The role focuses on developing operational concepts, plans, and tools to ensure flawless on-orbit execution for Blue Ring missions.

You will collaborate across space and ground segments to deliver reliable mission operations. The ideal candidate combines systems thinking with attention to end-user needs, enabling efficient mission operations from the ground up.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical, Systems, or related fields.
• Experience in spacecraft operations development and on-orbit support.
• Familiarity with real-time operations and mission planning.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mission planning, operations concepts, tools, and processes for real-time spacecraft and ground operations.
• Develop detailed operations procedures, telemetry displays, and technical documentation.
• Drive efficiency and reliability through automation and AI/ML in ops workflows.
• Create test procedures and validate end-to-end system capabilities.
• Support anomaly resolution and long-term lessons-learned for future missions.
• Provide on-console support during spacecraft launch and early orbit phases.
