Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Mission Modeling Department. The role involves team leadership, management and technical performance, with on-site work at our Rolling Meadows, IL location.

You will develop, integrate, test and analyze complex virtual representations of systems, design models, document assumptions, automate tests, and perform mission-level analyses using system-of-systems modeling and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years related experience or Master/PhD with 0 years.
• Proficiency in SysML and tools such as Cameo and Rhapsody.
• Experience with MATLAB, C, C++, CUDA, VHDL, OpenCL, SysML, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with virtual environments or mission modeling tools (AFSIM, STK, BRAWLER, ATCOM, ONESAF).
• US Citizenship and active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test and analyze virtual system representations.
• Design system models and document assumptions and performance.
• Create test automation and test reports; execute integration tests in SILs.
• Perform mission-level analysis using System of Systems modeling and simulations.
• Apply knowledge of EOIR, optics, RF systems, algorithms, detection or tracking.
