Job summary

Rune Technologies is seeking a Mission Manager to bridge our engineering and product teams with military partners. You will translate operational needs into actionable product strategies and oversee successful delivery from remote edge to command levels.

Ideal candidates have military logistics experience, strong leadership, clear communication, and a willingness to travel up to 50%. The role is full-time and requires eligibility for a U.S. secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members, and senior leadership.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineering, product, operations and growth.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% to support program objectives and customer engagements.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with customers to understand challenges and represent them to the Rune engineering team to shape product development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, business development and executives to ensure customer success.
• Be a do-er who understands customer problems and highly technical solutions to those problems.
• Support deployment of Rune software for testing, evaluation and operational use at government facilities and military bases.
• Lead training sessions to ensure Rune’s product meets user needs and drives impact.
• Identify relevant datasets and work with engineers to integrate data into product delivery.
