York Space Systems is seeking a Mission Lead Systems Engineer to guide space vehicle missions and lead a systems engineering team through design, integration, and verification of satellite programs. The role emphasizes customer interfacing, problem solving, and autonomous execution across the full engineering lifecycle.

• Experience in design and/or test of a space vehicle.
• Experience leading requirement derivation and verification activities.
• Experience in most phases of a program life cycle.
• Strong communication and coordination skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Strong interpersonal skills and techniques for eliciting and motivating team performance.
• Planning and organizing skills including schedule definition, cost estimation, and personnel forecasting.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Must be willing to work at least 4 days in office in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office.

York is seeking a Mission Lead Systems Engineer to join our team at York. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Systems Engineer to lead our Space Vehicle missions. Applicants need to be self-starters able to execute autonomously, willing to stretch outside of current knowledge areas, and open to executing the entire engineering lifecycle. The role requires technical leadership, customer interfacing, problem-solving, and quick decision-making. Salary commensurate with abilities and experience.
