Job summary

Knightscope in Sunnyvale is seeking a Mission Intelligence Analyst to act as a critical human-in-the-loop for security operations, overseeing autonomous machines, AI-driven software, and Knightscope Security Force systems. You will verify and respond to alerts, investigate incidents as they arise, and help ensure seamless 24/7 monitoring for our clients.

This onsite role is ideal for building a career in physical security operations. Prior industry experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical security operations, preferably in a security operations center (SOC).
• Clear communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, curious, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient with computers and general internet usage.
• Willingness to cover shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when assessing alerts.
• Background in CCTV or security technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts and machine activity to provide reliable security and customer service for Knightscope clients.
• Identify and solve problems to improve the Mission Intelligence department.
• Prepare Daily Security Activity Reports for monitoring periods.
• Investigate incidents that occur during shifts and document findings.
• Maintain consistent response times and clearance rates for alerts.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to keep the fleet operational.

About The Role

As a Mission Intelligence Analyst, you'll serve as a critical human-in-the-loop for Knightscope's security operations, working alongside our autonomous hardware, software, and Knightscope Security Force (KSF) systems. You'll be responsible for verifying and responding to security alerts, investigating incidents as they arise, and helping ensure seamless 24/7 monitoring coverage for our clients. This is an onsite opportunity ideal for someone looking to build a career in physical security operations. Prior industry experience considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing consistent and constant alert and machine monitoring to provide excellent security and customer service resources for Knightscope clients
• Identifying and solving problems to improve the Mission Intelligence department
• Prepare Daily Security Activity Reports for monitoring periods
• Prepare and investigate incidents that occur during your shift
• Help maintain consistent response times and clearance rates
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to keep the fleet active.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in physical security, preferably in a Physical Security Operations Center environment
• Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
• Able to communicate clearly and work well both alone and with others
• Organized, curious, and willing to learn
• Computer and internet proficiency
• Flexibility and willingness to cover shifts when needed
• Experience with security, particularly in a CCTV or technology environment (preferred but not required)
• Background in customer service
• A strong desire to help build the future of security
• Attention to detail and sound judgment when responding to alerts
