Job summary

Neros Technologies is seeking a Mission Integrations Lead in Torrance, CA. You will drive complex hardware and software integration efforts, mentor a small team, and liaise directly with external partners while staying hands-on with technical work.

You will guide feasibility studies, define technical standards, and contribute to documentation, CAD/ICD records, and onboarding as the team grows. Relocation to Torrance is expected for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on FPV drone experience with deep technical depth.
• Built multiple FPV drones from scratch across sizes (8'+).
• Strong Betaflight knowledge for configuration and tuning.
• Comfort with light soldering, wiring and prototyping (3D-printed mounts).
• ELRS knowledge, RF propagation and spectrum management.
• Prior experience managing or leading others.
• FPV flight experience (Acro, non-stabilized).
• FAA Part 107 certification.
• Strong communication with external partners and customers in defense contexts.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA; able to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of Integration Specialists, including scoping and prioritizing their work
• Personally lead the most complex or highest-visibility integration projects, from feasibility through proof-of-concept
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external partner companies on active integration efforts
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments for new integration opportunities
• Represent the team in cross-functional coordination with Engineering and other stakeholders
• Help define team direction, technical standards, and documentation practices, including a repository of integration documentation (ICDs, CAD files, and related records)
• Support hiring and onboarding as the team grows
