Job summary

Trinity Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Mission Leader to guide the integration of faith-based mission across ministries. You will collaborate with the VPMS and local leaders to implement CMA, ethics programs and spiritual care alignment.

The role requires deep Catholic theology knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to translate mission into policy, education, and daily operations while fostering a compassionate healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess an in-depth knowledge of Catholic theology and ethics particularly as applied to Catholic health care and as normally obtained through a Master's Degree in theology or a related field.
• Must have experience in nurturing the Catholic identity of an organization through understanding and applying Catholic social teachings.
• At least 3 years of clinical practice or ministerial experience in health care preferred.
• Must have proven successful management and/or educational experience in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the integration of Mission and Core Values across the ministry.
• Implements system Mission strategies and policies in alignment with operational plans.
• Works with Local Coordinating Council to assess Mission Essential Services across ministries.
• Attends ministry Board meetings and provides Mission-focused formation for the Board.
• Ensures Mission policies and procedures are implemented locally.
