Job summary

The Mission Leader at Trinity Health serves on the Health Ministry leadership team, guiding Mission Integration across ministries and aligning with system priorities.

Responsibilities include implementing CIA, ethics programs, and ministry formation, while collaborating with Spiritual Care to integrate chaplaincy within the Ministry. The role reports to the Mission Strategy Partner and supports board education and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Must possess an in-depth knowledge of Catholic theology and ethics as applied to Catholic health care.
• Must demonstrate ability to nurture the Catholic identity of an organization through Catholic social teachings.
• At least 3 years of clinical practice or ministerial experience in health care preferred.
• Proven management or educational experience in an institutional setting.
• Ability to operate in a collaborative, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive Mission Integration leadership as part of the Health Ministry leadership team.
• Implement Mission activities and delivery of Mission Integration Essential Services.
• Collaborate to ensure full integration of professional chaplaincy within the Ministry.
• Oversee Mission Integration programs (ethics, CIA, ministry formation) and policy adherence.
• Support and coordinate mission discernment education for Ministry boards and leadership.
