Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join its Digital Engineering team. You will design and analyze new warfighter capabilities, model architectures with SysML v2, and contribute to software tool development that solves real-world defense problems.

Qualifications

• BS in Systems Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with BS.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience with MS.
• Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) v2 and MBSE concepts.
• Experience with commercial MBSE software and plugin development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze warfighter capabilities as part of the Digital Engineering team.
• Model architectures using MBSE to support DoD programs.
• Develop software tools to solve real-world problems for defense applications.
