You will lead a team, drive process improvements, monitor performance metrics, and ensure excellent service to stores, donors, and partners while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of motor vehicle safety practices and DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of Madison-area streets, traffic patterns, and approved truck routes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient, and cost-effective handling of donated and commercial goods.
• Develop and communicate short- and long-term operational strategies to achieve KPIs.
• Implement procedures supporting budget targets and initiatives.
• Negotiate with vendors and partners to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Monitor aftermarket trends to maximize salvage revenue and opportunities.
• Oversee warehouse management systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze reports to track inventory, salvage, transportation, and warehouse metrics.
• Coordinate logistics for internal operations and external partnerships.
• Deliver high levels of service to stores, donors, and partners.
• Train staff on safety, maintenance, and documentation of equipment and vehicles.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safe working conditions; report incidents.
