Job summary

Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IBVI) is seeking a Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Logistics to lead and shape its manufacturing and logistics operations. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive strategy, ensure performance, and oversee multi-plant operations while aligning with IBVI’s mission and compliance requirements.

You will collaborate with executive leadership to translate strategic plans into measurable goals, strengthen vendor relations, and advance product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Eight or more years in manufacturing, distribution, and operations, including 5+ years of people management.
• Experience leading diverse teams and partnering with CEO/executive leadership.
• Strong financial, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to think strategically, develop tactical plans, manage priorities, and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and people across manufacturing and logistics functions.
• Partner with CEO to translate strategic plan into measurable goals and results.
• Drive performance across vendor relations, distribution, logistics, production, and engineering while improving financial performance.
• Maintain fiscal controls, quality standards, contract compliance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; uphold ethical practices.
