Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom seeks a Senior Director of Talent Development to design, lead, and optimize our enterprise-wide learning ecosystem, ensuring mission-aligned growth and servant leadership across the organization.

You'll own onboarding, leadership development, succession planning, cultural engagement, LMS strategy, and partnerships with senior leaders to scale development programs for diverse teams and roles nationwide. Travel may be required to ADF sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent development, organizational learning, or a related discipline, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodology, and curriculum development.
• Proven experience designing and leading leadership development programs and succession planning processes at the enterprise level.
• Experience managing an LMS and leveraging learning technology to scale training programs.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, from entry-level employees to C-suite executives.
• Ability to travel occasionally to ADF sites and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Organizational Learning Strategy: Develop and execute a multi-year talent development strategy aligned with ADF’s mission, values, and objectives.
• Curriculum & Adult Learning: Lead end-to-end instructional design and development across modalities (ADDIE/SAM).
• Leadership Development: Design leadership programs and run cohorts, coaching, and 360-feedback.
• Succession Planning: Facilitate talent reviews and development roadmaps for key roles.
• Culture & Engagement: Drive onboarding, engagement surveys, and culture initiatives.
• LMS Administration & Tech: Oversee LMS strategy, governance, dashboards, and vendor relationships.
