Job summary

ClearEdge, based in Maryland, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract top talent for national security missions, partnering with hiring managers and candidates to deliver a thoughtful recruiting experience from first contact through onboarding.

This hybrid role involves sourcing, screening, interviewing (phone/video/in person), scheduling interviews, extending offers, background checks, onboarding support, and maintaining candidate records. Travel 5–10% for recruiting events.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Proficient with job boards, sourcing tools, and social media for recruitment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to assess candidate qualifications against complex job requirements.
• Experience supporting both technical and non-technical hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Review job descriptions and collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
• Source and screen candidates for technical and non-technical roles across the organization.
• Conduct interviews via phone, video, or in-person, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams.
• Extend offers, initiate background checks, and support onboarding as needed.
• Maintain accurate candidate records for EEO compliance and reporting.
• Promote ClearEdge culture and benefits to external candidates.
• Participate in job fairs and recruiting events (5-10% travel).
• Track and report recruiting metrics to leadership.
