Job summary

Horizon Goodwill Woodstock is seeking a part-time Store Clerk to deliver excellent customer service, process sales at the cash register, price and display merchandise, and maintain stock levels.

The role involves engaging customers in our mission, handling transactions, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety while following company policies. Training will be provided, and career paths include shift/assistant/store manager roles.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-screenings such as background checks.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to fifty (50) lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers.
• Operate cash register and handle money accurately.
• Price products and organize displays to promote merchandise.
• Maintain stock levels and rotate stock.
• Keep store clean and orderly according to policy.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Complete opening/closing tasks and required paperwork.
• Receive and verify merchandise and ensure adequate stock.
• Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned.
