Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Williamson County Jail clinical team. You will provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision, delivering safe, compassionate care and education to patients.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinic experience. Work hours are 8a-4p on alternating weekends with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan individual treatment programs with Charge Nurse(s) and staff as needed.
• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with procedures as required.
• Count controlled substances and follow policies and protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using the SOAP format and attend mandatory meetings.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel.
