Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Arnold, MO is hiring a friendly Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, operate the register, balance the till, restock merchandise, and help create a welcoming shopping experience for donors.

This part-time role offers paid training on register procedures, ongoing coaching from store leadership, and benefits including voluntary life insurance, a 403(b) plan, sick/vacation and paid holidays, with a schedule of 19 to 25 hours per week including evenings,

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly customer service.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Balance the register at opening/closing as assigned.
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and organized.
• Move merchandise to the sales floor and prepare it for sale.
• Keep the store clean, safe and welcoming.
• Work with team to meet daily sales and production goals.
