Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support donated goods store operations, provide friendly customer service, handle transactions, and help keep the sales floor stocked and organized.

Under Store Manager guidance, you will process purchases, balance tills, train teammates, and assist in safety and policy compliance, contributing to our mission of helping people obtain employment services and digital skills training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate the computer-based register system and process transactions accurately.
• Count tills before and after shifts and reconcile at end of shift.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with store operations and merchandise questions.
• Meet production standards for sorting, stocking, pricing, and pulling donations.
• Train and develop team members, clients, and volunteers within Goodwill policies.
