Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 3 years related plumbing experience.
• Must pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
• Must maintain ability to access government worksite.
• Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to perform on-call duties and report within required time.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures per specs and codes.
• Studies building plans to determine work aids and installation sequence.
• Inspects structures to avoid obstructions and locates pipe passages.
• Cuts openings in walls and floors for pipe fittings.
• Cuts and threads pipe using hand/power tools.
• Bends pipe using tools and equipment.
• Assembles and installs valves and piping materials of various metals and nonmetals.
• Joins pipes and tests for leaks; installs fixtures like sinks, water heaters, etc.
• Repairs plumbing and may weld to structural members.
• Documents maintenance actions in IEMS system.
• Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
