Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to install, service, and repair environmental-control systems across federal facilities. You will lead a team of HVAC tradespeople, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness on each project.

The role requires a Virginia Journeyman HVAC license, Universal CFC certification, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Expect on-call support and shift adjustments as needed to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• Universal CFC certification is required.
• Journeyman HVAC license for Virginia is mandatory.
• Knowledge of EMS and HVAC control systems.
• Available for 24-hour on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC mechanics and oversee installs, services, and repairs.
• Pipefitting, ductwork fabrication, and equipment mounting.
• Read blueprints and follow engineering specifications.
• Test systems, check for leaks, and adjust controls.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to shift schedules and respond to emergencies.
