Job summary

Neighborhood House Association of Peoria seeks a dynamic President/CEO to guide organizational strategy and operations. You will lead staff, programs, and expansion while working closely with the Board of Directors to advance the mission and ensure program quality.

The role requires a track record in nonprofit leadership, financial stewardship, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on fundraising, communications, and organizational development.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Services, Business, or Human Services preferred.
• Minimum five years of Not-for-Profit Director experience preferred.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive and passionate.
• Ability to cultivate board member relationships and facilitate board development.
• Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the agency.
• Lead staff, programs, expansion, and mission execution.
• Maintain fiduciary oversight with the Finance Director and program managers.
• Develop and energize a high-performing senior management team.
• Expand local revenue generation and fundraising activities.
• Represent the agency and serve as lead spokesperson in the community.
