Job summary

The Opportunity Center- Easterseals is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to tell stories, strengthen our brand, and expand impact across communities in Anniston, AL. This role supports fundraising, recruitment, program growth, and organizational communications.

You will lead integrated campaigns, manage digital channels, and collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent messaging while advancing opportunities for people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Three or more years of marketing and communications experience.
• Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and content strategies.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience with social media management, email marketing, and website content management.
• Excellent project management and organization skills.
• Collaborative mindset and mission-driven work.
• Nonprofit experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead organization-wide marketing and communications initiatives.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
• Manage website, social media, email marketing, and digital communications.
• Create compelling stories, videos, graphics, and content that inspire engagement.
• Support fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and special events.
• Build community awareness and strengthen brand recognition.
• Collaborate with leadership and program teams to ensure consistent messaging.
