Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one year clinic experience.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, contributing to individualized treatment planning.
• Administers medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performs diagnostic tests.
• Collaborates in controlled substance counts and responds to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
• Documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting and communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and other personnel.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to support ongoing professional development.
