Job summary

People's Express in Michigan seeks an experienced HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR functions and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, training coordination, and HR recordkeeping.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and hands-on payroll experience (Paychex a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, organizational development, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive human resources experience.
• Minimum 1 year payroll processing; Paychex experience a plus.
• SHRM-CP, PHR or other HR certification preferred.

• Full cycle recruitment and onboarding management.
• Payroll processing and biweekly payroll administration.
• Benefits administration and compensation analyses support.
