Job summary

Redefine Alliance is seeking a Revenue and Grants Accountant in the San Francisco Bay Area (remote-friendly) to oversee grants and revenue accounting with a focus on fiscal stewardship of philanthropic funding. You will manage budgets, forecasts, reporting, and compliance across government and nonprofit grants.

The role requires strong Excel, NetSuite experience, and 2–4 years in accounting or FP&A, preferably in nonprofits. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting or financial planning & analysis experience is required.
• Nonprofit or philanthropy experience preferred.
• Proficient Excel skills including pivot tables and advanced functions are required.
• Experience with NetSuite or other accounting software is required.
• Strong budgeting, planning and analysis capabilities are valued.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants and revenue accounting with budgets, forecasts and reporting.
• Identify, track and record grant expenditures accurately and timely.
• Prepare government grant invoices and related financial reports.
• Forecast revenues and communicate variances to stakeholders.
• Support grant proposals, budgets, and internal financial assessments.
• Perform daily revenue accounting and monthly reconciliations; assist audits.
