Job summary

Premier Family & Children's Entertainment Venue in New York City seeks a General Manager to lead all daily operations of a 40,000-square-foot family entertainment facility. You will create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and families while driving revenue and delivering mission-driven programs.

The role requires hands-on leadership with nonprofit or family-focused experience, managing 20+ staff across multiple departments and partnering with schools and community

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in nonprofit, children's services, family entertainment, recreation, hospitality, or related field.
• Experience working directly with children and family-focused programs required.
• Nonprofit experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ employees.
• Understanding of budgets, labor management, P&L and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of a high-volume family entertainment facility.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and families.
• Support programs designed for children of all abilities and backgrounds.
• Manage, coach, and develop a large multi-department team.
• Drive revenue through memberships, events, partnerships, fundraising opportunities, and community programs.
• Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and local partners.
• Oversee budgets, labor, financial performance, and key operating metrics.
• Maintain the highest standards for safety, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Create a positive, mission-focused team culture.
