Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate to promote the mission and provide excellent customer service while handling sales transactions for TurnStyles stores. The role requires cash handling and POS experience, and includes opening/closing the store Monday through Saturday.

The ideal candidate will be able to supervise volunteers as needed, adhere to organizational policies, and maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor in a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• One year of retail experience, POS and cash handling required.
• High school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to customers, volunteers, and donors.
• Handle cash register operations and daily close-out accurately.
• Keep sales floor maintained per operations guide and be on the floor to assist customers and operate cash registers.
• Follow TurnStyles POS operations with attention to cash handling and product handling.
• Provide direction to volunteers as needed.
• Open/Close store Monday through Saturday and perform other duties as assigned.
