Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is seeking a store associate to support TurnStyles by delivering excellent customer service, handling transactions, and closing the store daily. The role requires staying on the sales floor and maintaining sales floor standards while assisting customers and volunteers.

Responsibilities include operating POS with accuracy, following TurnStyles guidelines, and complying with the agency handbook.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail experience and POS cash handling required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, volunteers, donors and staff.
• Commitment to Catholic Charities mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service at all times.
• Handle cash registers and daily close-out with accuracy.
• Keep sales floor compliant with store operations guide and be on floor to assist customers.
• Operate POS per policy and guide.
• Supervise and coordinate volunteers as needed.
• Follow agency policies and turnover procedures; open/close store Mon–Sat.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
