Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking a Front End Software Engineer Co-op in Cambridge, MA to develop web interfaces for DoD customers. You’ll build ReactJS components, work with designers and engineers, and own feature design from concept to testing in an agile environment. U.S.

citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a US security clearance. Pursuing a BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is expected, and knowledge of Git is essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Working toward a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
• Experience with ReactJS
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaboration in a team

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development of custom software packages, full stack applications/tools, and user interfaces for a variety of DoD customers
• Develop web applications in ReactJS
• Write extensible React components
• Take ownership of feature design, development, and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers and developers to define, design, and ship new features
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on code and receptive to feedback
• Working with and integrating open-source tools & algorithms to solve problems
