You should be a self-starter with strong communication, be eligible for U.S. citizenship and able to obtain a security clearance, and collaborate with designers and engineers to ship features and adopt new tech.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Working towards an MS degree in Computer Science, HCI, UI/UX Engineering, or related subject.
• Working knowledge of software architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with ReactJS.
• Experience with Python is nice to have.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development of custom software packages, full stack applications/tools, and user interfaces for a variety of DoD customers.
• Develop web applications in ReactJS.
• Take ownership of feature design, development, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving feedback on code.
• Work with and integrate the latest open-source software tools & algorithms to solve novel problems.
