Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking Front End Software Engineer Co-ops to build software applications and user interfaces for DoD customers. You will develop web apps in ReactJS, write reusable components, and own feature design, development, and testing in an agile environment. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S.

security clearance are required. A BS/BA in CS or Engineering is preferred, with Git version control and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Pursuing a BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with ReactJS.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Git and version control.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing DoD software packages, full-stack apps and UIs for DoD customers.
• Develop web applications using ReactJS.
• Write extensible React components.
• Own feature design, development, and testing.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ship new features.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and accept feedback on your code.
• Work with open-source tools and algorithms to solve problems.
