Job summary

The St. Louis Area Foodbank seeks an Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory accuracy across the distribution network.

You will manage perpetual and par locations, ensure receipts and distributions are tracked, and lead cycle counts, reconciliations, and the annual physical inventory with a focus on food safety and efficiency. You will partner with Operations, Acquisitions, and Distribution to optimize product availability and minimize waste, while promoting accountability and continuous

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an Associate degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations preferred.
• Experience leading inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and physical inventories.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems, MS Dynamics NAV/365 preferred.
• Food distribution/nonprofit or high-volume warehouse background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve inventory control policies, procedures, workflows, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Shipping, Acquisitions, and Distribution to track inventory movement.
• Maintain quality control standards for inventory data and system accuracy.
• Lead annual physical inventory, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and reduce waste.
