Job summary

Chimes DC in Fort Meade, MD seeks a Project Manager to lead the hospital housekeeping operations for a federal facility. You will own the people, standards, budget, and relationships with the customer, ensuring hospital-grade service and contract compliance while guiding a team across all shifts.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, implement safety and QA programs, and coordinate with contracting officers and government representatives to deliver on-time, within-budget results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time management as Hospital Executive Housekeeper within last 5 years or 3 years as Assistant Hospital Executive Housekeeper.
• IEHA Executive Housekeeper Certification and ASHES membership with CEU credits.
• Training in hospital housekeeping procedures approved by relevant association.
• Knowledge of building service management, equipment, and chemical applications.
• Knowledge of SDS, safety regulations, and hospital standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years; must be 25+ to drive 15-passenger van.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day contract operations across all shifts.
• Plan maintenance and floor care services; manage inventory and supplies.
• Lead safety training and implement safety policies.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all staff.
• Serve as the main contact for contracting officers and government representatives.
• Keep payroll and supply costs within budget; handle special projects.
