Job summary

Chimes DC in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a Project Manager to lead a government contract delivering hospital‑grade cleanliness and reliable operations. This full‑time role owns the people, the standards, the budget, and the relationship with the customer.

You’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, plan schedules, supervise staff, drive safety and quality improvements, and coordinate with contracting officers and facility leaders to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time management experience as a Hospital Executive Housekeeper, or 3 years as Assistant Hospital Executive Housekeeper.
• IEHA certification and ASHE/ASHES membership with annual continuing education.
• Training in hospital housekeeping procedures approved by the National Executive Housekeeping Association.
• Knowledge of building service management, equipment, chemicals, and their application.
• Must be at least 25 to drive a 15-passenger van; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day contract operations across all shifts.
• Plan schedules, staffing, and daily time records per contract specifications.
• Plan general maintenance and floor care services.
• Inventory and order supplies with Contracts Administrator approval.
• Maintain key control and complete quarterly inventories.
• Lead safety training and implement safety policies.
