Job summary

Victory Programs Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to maintain building operations at our Boston sites. This role ensures safety and functionality across multiple properties under the direction of the Director of Facilities.

Key duties include routine maintenance, equipment repairs, HVAC preventative tasks, and on-call coverage. The technician will mentor junior staff and support special projects within a mission-driven nonprofit environment in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year performing maintenance or trades work.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate safely.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance, snow removal, lawn care, and janitorial tasks.
• Repair facilities equipment such as mowers and snow blowers.
• Perform light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as assigned.
• Complete preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Maintain clean, safe work sites and decommission tools after projects.
• Mentor and train Facilities Maintenance Technician I(s).
• Respond to on-call and emergency requests as part of rotating coverage.
