Job summary

Versiti is seeking a Facilities Technician II to maintain equipment, buildings, and grounds, and to act as a subject matter expert on projects. The role involves independent problem solving and collaboration with the Facilities team and internal customers.

The position emphasizes proactive maintenance, incident response, and contributing to project efficiencies across multiple facilities. Strong knowledge of maintenance operations and safety practices is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of building maintenance operations, safety practices, and related codes.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions; write routine reports.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repair and maintenance on buildings, grounds, equipment, and environmental safety.
• Maintain logs, calendars, and schedules for the department.
• Coordinate schedules with contractors and vendors for small to large projects.
• Act as project lead when assigned and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Be on-call 24/7 to address urgent facilities problems.
