Job summary

Progress Valley, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform routine building and facility maintenance across multiple locations.

The role requires independent work, strict adherence to safety and confidentiality, and the ability to handle physical tasks including snow removal and grounds care. You will report to the Lead Maintenance Technician and support a welcoming environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of two years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to relate well to others and to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to push or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a favorable DHS Rule 11 background check.
• Valid state driver's license and positive driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building and facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, plumbing, snow removal, lawn care, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
• Work independently, follow safety and compliance requirements, and maintain client confidentiality.
• Respond to facility needs, including off-hour situations, with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Document actions taken, costs, and maintenance requests; coordinate with supervisor.
• Support progressive core values of Progress Valley in daily operations.
