Job summary

Mount St Mary Catholic High School is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Controller to join our Business Office. The Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer and share responsibility for daily accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, budgeting support, audit coordination, internal controls, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA certification and nonprofit or educational accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, audits, internal controls, and financial reporting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the school.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports.
• Manage payroll processing and benefit deductions.
• Support budgeting processes and variance analyses.
• Coordinate external audits and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance.
